Mrs. Holly
My name is Sherry-Ann Holly. This year will be my eighth year of teaching and my 7th year at West Wing School. I have taught Kindergarten, Special Needs Preschool, 7th/8th Grade Special Education, and 5th grade. I enjoy building relationships with students and watching them grow and develop in their education as well as into their character.
I earned my B.A. in Special Education from ASU in 1995 and my M.A. in Elementary Education from NAU in 2008. Committed to life long learning, I continue to take classes throughout the school year and during the summer.
This year, I celebrated 22 years of marriage to my husband, Larry. We are blessed with 3 healthy boys. My oldest son will be a junior at University of Arizona this Fall. My middle son will be a freshman at Sandra Day O'connor and my youngest son attends West Wing.
I was born in Honolulu, HI, where most of my family still lives today. However, growing up, I moved around the world with my dad who served in the U.S. Army for 20 years. I moved to Arizona with my husband 21 years ago and consider Arizona to be my home.
My hobbies revolve around my family, which include camping, backpacking, hiking, cooking and watching lots of Youth baseball. My life long dream is to visit all the National Parks in our great country!
